A Two Vehicle Crash In Greene County Over The Weekend Has Claimed The Life Of A Jefferson City Man. According To The Tennessee Highway Patrol, 28 Year Old Derrick Ray Malone Was Killed While Riding His Motorcycle On Rogersville Highway. Authorities Said Witnesses Claim Two Motorcycles Were Traveling At A High Rate Of Speed When Malone’s Bike Struck A Car Driven By Phil Carter. 18 Year Old Corey Turner, The Driver Of The Other Motorcycle Was Able To Avoid The Crash But Hit The Shoulder Of The Road. He Was Taken To A Local Hospital For Treatment Of Non Life Threatening Injuries. The Crash Is Still Under Investigation And No Charges Have Been Filed At This Time.

An Elizabethton Native And Senior Pastor Of An Alabama Church Is Facing A Murder Charge. Terry Greer Is Charged With Murder And Attempted Murder After Allegedly Killing His Wife Lisa And Wounding His Daughter Suzanna Following A Domestic Violence Shooting In His Gardendale Alabama Home. Greer Is In Stable Condition At A Hospital Being Treated For Self Inflicted Stab Wounds. Greer Had Reportedly Been Inactive In The Gardendale Church For Several Months Because Of Health Problems And Injuries Suffered In An Accident.

A Kingsport Man Accused Of Abusing And Raping His Six Year Old Child Has Pled Not Guilty In Sullivan County Criminal Court. Shawn Lee Wray Entered The Plea To Aggravated Child Rape And Aggravated Child Abuse Charges. Police Said The Child Sustained A Severe Skull Fracture And Injuries Indicative Of Sexual Abuse. Wray Is Being Held Without Bond For A Probation Violation. He’s Set To Return To Court In March.

The Skeletal Remains Found In Carter County About A Week Ago Have Been Identified. Sheriff Chris Mathes Said The Remains Found On Gap Creek Road Are Those Of Zane Baxter Gervin II.
