As The Search Continues Now In Watauga Lake In Carter County For A Missing Woman, Authorities Believe She May Have Been The Victim Of Homicide. Carter County Sheriff Chris Mathes Said The Search For 28 Year Old Vonda Berry Marshall Donaldson Is Being Conducted Near The Butler Bridge. Donaldson Was Last Seen By Her Mother Saturday After Her Father’s Wedding. She Dropped Her Kids Off With Family And Left With Her Boyfriend To Go And Have Drinks. She Was Never Seen Again. Meanwhile, Donaldson’s Boyfriend, Steven Bennett, Is Being Held In The Washington County Detention Center Without Bond On A Parole Violation. He Has Not Been Charged In The Case Yet.
