The National Storytelling Festival Is Set For Later This Week In Tennessee’s Oldest Town. The Festival Was Founded In 1973 By Jimmy Neil Smith, A High School Journalism Teacher, And Has Grown To Become A Major Festival Both In The United States And Internationally. This Year’s Event Runs From Friday Through Sunday At The International Storytelling Center In Jonesborough.
