The Hospital’s Board Of Control Is Holding A Meeting Tonight To Discuss And Vote On A Letter Of Intent From Mountain States Health Alliance To Acquire The Financially Struggling Community Hospital. Within The Letter Of Intent, Mountain States Has Outlined Plans To Build A New Hospital And To Assume The Current Facility’s Debt And Financial Obligations. The Meeting Gets Underway At 5:20pm In The Boardroom Of Unicoi County Memorial Hospital.
