A Hawkins County Man Accused Of Threatening Hawkins County Firefighters With A Gun Is Behind Bars. 56 Year Old Michael
Campbell Of Rogersville Is Charged With Aggravated Assault Against A Law Enforcement Officer, Disorderly Conduct And No Driver’s License. Campbell Drove His Vehicle To The Quaryville Boat Ramp Where He Confronted Volunteer Fire Departments And The Tennessee Forestry Division At Their Command Post For The Short Mountain Forest Fire. He Began Criticizing The Firefighters And Making Threats. At One Point He Allegedly Reached For A Rifle In His Vehicle. He Was Taken Into Custody Without Incident. Campbell Is Being Held Without Bond In The Hawkins County Jail.
