Anyone Now Convicted Of Manufacturing Methamphetamine In Scott County Virginia Will Have To Pay For The Cost Of Clean Up. The Board Of Supervisors Passed An Ordinance Effective Immediately That Will Shift The Financial Burden Associated With Cleaning Up A Meth Cook Site From The County And Sheriff’s Office Onto Those Who Are Convicted Of Making The Drug. The Average Minimum Cleanup Cost Is One-Thousand Dollars According To Sheriff John Puckett.
