Legal Woes Are Mounting For Some Local Brothers. 20 Year Old Josh Hammonds And 27 Year Old Jeffrey Hammonds Are Each Charged With Two Counts Of Attempted First Degree Murder For Shooting At Two People November 9th On Glendale Road. Earlier This Week While In Court, Josh Hammonds Reportedly Cursed At One Of The Bailiffs During A Recess, So He Was Taken Back To Jail. About The Same Time, Officers Were Trying To Confirm The Existence Of Several Warrants Issued In Carter County For Jeffrey Hammonds’ Arrest On Probation Violations. After A Break, Officers Could Not Find Jeffery Hammonds, So A Warrant Was Issued For His Arrest. Judge Lynn Brown Reset The Brother’s Case For April 5th.
