A 20 Year Old Student At The University Of Virginia’s College At Wise Is Facing Charges Following What Turned Out To Be A Hoax Which Prompted A Lockdown Of The College. Bryant Hairston Of Martinsville Is Charged With Falsely Summoning A Police Officer And Obstruction Of Justice. He Allegedly Reported A Gunman On The Campus. Campus, State Police, And Wise County Sheriff’s Depupties Searched Numerous Buildings As Well As The Grounds Of The Campus. After A Two Hour Lockdown Of The Campus, Hairston Allegedly Admitted The Incident Was False. Hairston Was Taken Into Custody And Appeared Before A Magistrate.
