A Jury Has Found A Church Hill Man Guilty Of First Degree Murder For Killing His Ex-Wife’s Boyfriend. 51 Year Old James Henry Allen Was Convicted Of Gunning Down 45 Year Old Rick Carter In May 2010. Carter Was Shot While Standing In The Door Of Deborah Franklin’s Home On Cherry Lane In Fall Branch. Allen Was Sentenced To Life In Prison With The Possibility Of Parole. He Must Serve 50 Years Behind Bars Before He’s Eligible For Parole.
