A Lawsuit Between Sullivan County’s Sheriff And Mayor Will End Up Costing Taxpayers. Commissioner Ed Marsh Says The Bill Could Reach Upwards Of 150-Thousand Dollars. Marsh Said That Was The Figure Given To Him And Other County Leaders By A Cleveland-Based Attorney Hired By Mayor Steve Godsey. Sheriff Wayne Anderson Filed The Suit Claiming His Department Is Underfunded And Had Not Seen A Budget Increase For Six Years Despite Increasing Call Volumes, Rising Costs For Fuel, Medical Treatment And Food Costs For Inmates.
