Two Area Medical Facilities Have Been Reaccredited. According To The Joint Commission, Holston Valley Medical Center And Bristol Regional Medical Center, The Two Largest Hospitals Within Wellmont Health System, Have Received The Designation For Another Three Years. Reaccreditation Came After A Rigorous And Critical Evaluation Of The Two Hospital’s Patient Care Process. The Joint Commission Is An Independent, Not-For-Profit Agency That Accredits And Certifies More Than 20-Thousand Healthcare Organizations And Programs In The United States.
