A Lawsuit Filed By Sullivan County Sheriff Wayne Anderson Against County Mayor Steve Godsey Could End Up Being Resolved Out Of Court. Sheriff Anderson Filed The Suit In Order To Get Additional Funding For His Department. Godsey Has Recently Been Involved In Negotiations To Hopefully Avoid Taking The Lawsuit To Court. Godsey Said If An Agreement Can Be Reached, It Will Be Up To The County Commission To Vote On Whether Or Not To Adopt The Plans. The Matter Could Be Voted On At The Next County Commission Meeting, Which Is Set For February 25th.
