The Sullivan County Commissioner Who Originally Sought To Have All County Departments Submit Budget Requests Reflecting A 5-Percent Cut For The Upcoming Fiscal Year Has Withdrawn His Proposal. Commissioner Dwight King Said The Resolution Is No Longer Needed Because County Mayor Steve Godsey Has Sent A Letter To All Department Heads Asking Each Submit Two Budget Requests; Of The Two One Must Show How They Would Cut 5 Percent From Their Spending Plans. Those Requests Are Expected To Be Turned In By Early March.
