The Town Of Abingdon Virginia Will Conduct An Important Audible Test On Tuesday. The Test Which Begins At 9:45 A.M. Will Make Sure The Town’s Storm Warning Sirens Are Working Properly In Conjunction With the Statewide Tornado Preparedness Drill. The Sirens Are Not Intended To Be Heard In Homes Or Buildings, Although Many Residents May Hear Them Inside Of Their Homes Or While At Work. If You Hear The Sirens, It’s Not Necessary To Call 911 Or Local Police.
