A Plan Has Been Unveiled For A New Hiking And Biking Trail That Will Run Between Johnson City And Elizabethton. The City Of Johnson City Wants To Develop The Old Tweetsie Railroad Line Into The Recreational Trail. The Estimated Cost Would Be Just Over Five-Million Dollars And The Work Would Take Place In Four Phases. It Is Expected To Take Nearly Two Years For Construction To Be Completed.
