U.S. AIR FORCE BAND’S BRASS ENSEMBLE ANNOUNCES TENNESSEE CONCERT DATES
Emmy Award-Winning USAF Band of Mid-America’s Airlifter Brass to Perform at multiple locations this April
The US Air Force Band of Mid-America’s Airlifter Brass Ensemble will perform a series of public concerts at locations in Tennessee this April.
The six-member ensemble will perform at Tennessee Tech University’s Wattenbarger Auditorium (1150 N. Dixie Ave., Cookeville, TN) on Tuesday, April 25th at 7:30 p.m., at the Historic Palace Theater (72 S. Main St, Crossville, TN) on Wednesday, April 26th at 7:00 p.m., at the Paramount Bristol (518 State St., Bristol, TN) on Thursday, April 27th at 7:00 p.m., and at Austin Peay State University’s Mabry Concert Hall (780 Marion St., Clarksville, TN) on Friday, April 28th at 7:30 p.m. Admission to these performances is free and open to the public, and no tickets are required. These are family-friendly, all-ages events.
The Airlifter Brass Ensemble was recently featured in the Band of Mid-America’s 2021 “Spirit of the Season” holiday television program, which aired on over 30 TV stations across the Midwest. The holiday special won the NATAS Mid-America Regional Emmy for Arts & Entertainment Long-Form Content.
The United States Air Force Band of Mid-America represents the professionalism and excellence found every day throughout the United States Air Force. During this concert you will hear many of your holiday favorites played by groups ranging in size and genre from our smaller quintets to our jazz band and concert band. All musicians are active-duty Airmen stationed at Scott AFB in Illinois.
