American Flood Coalition – The American Flood Coalition is a nonpartisan group of political, military, business, and local leaders that have come together to drive adaptation to higher seas, stronger storms, and more frequent flooding. The coalition advances solutions that support and protect flood-affected communities.

FEMA Flood Mitigation Assistance Grant Program – The Flood Mitigation Assistance grant program is a competitive program that provides funding to states, federally recognized Tribal governments, U.S. territories, and local governments. Since the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994 was signed into law, funds are used for projects that reduce or eliminate the risk of repetitive flood damage to buildings insured by the National Flood Insurance Program.

ETSU Bucs Rebuild Together – ETSU is collecting items to build flood buckets and hygiene kits. They are also conducting a blood drive on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1

Tennessee Middle School in Bristol, TN accepting donations daily starting 8 a.m.-5 p.m. through Wednesday, October 2.

The Sequoyah Council Service Center at 129 Boone Ridge Drive in Johnson City is accepting donations of bottled water, pet food, blankets and non-perishable food. Open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Fridays.

Hawkins County Rescue Squad is accepting donations in the lower bay of the building. Accepted items include bottled water, Gatorade, Body Armor drinks, beef jerky, protein bars, cereal bars, formula, chips, canned ready-to-eat snacks, crackers, trail mix, baby wipes and body wipes. DRIVE THROUGH SUPPLY PICK-UP: Bottled water (1 case per family) and supplies are available to those in need.
DONATION DROP-OFF: Items needed most are bottled water, dry shampoo, adult body wipes, toilet paper, canned goods, & can openers. Used items will not be accepted.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Helping hands are needed anytime from 8 AM – 8 PM to unload donations, sort and distribute items, and load up supplies.

Bristol Motor Speedway has opened one of its campgrounds free to those displaced by the storm. The Medallion Campground is located off Highway 394 at 105 Medallion Drive, Bristol, TN 37620. Evacuees are instructed to use Entrance No. 3. People arriving will take an immediate right after entering the Dragway Entrance, then the campground is the first one of the left.

Grace Baptist Church on 114 Broad Street in Elizabethton will host a meal for people and need and first responders tonight. Doors open at 5 p.m., meal begins at 5:30 and lasts to 7 p.m.

Phil’s Dream Pit at 534 Eastern Star Road in Kingsport will have food available today for families in need until 1 p.m. Text 423-793-7899 for more information.

Braeden’s Barbeque is accepting donations to provide meals to storm victims in need. Bring items to 823 North Eastman Road in Kingsport during normal business hours or send financial support via Venmo to BBQBreakers (last four digits 2255).

The Original Ridgewood Barbecue (900 Elizabethton Highway, Bluff City TN) is closed on Monday but we would like to serve families in need. Individual orders will be served until 2:30. We would also like to donate larger orders to volunteers or shelters if possible. If you have been a victim of the flood damage and are able to get to Ridgewood, please come see us. If you have friends or family who are first responders, please reach out through messenger and we will try to deliver food. Our Ridgewood family is praying for everyone involved.
