Hurricane Helene’s flooding caused tremendous destruction throughout our region. Appalachian Roots is a community focused initiative to celebrate and recognize local heroes, address ongoing needs in our community, and give you a spot where you can continue to help our neighbors in need by volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word. Let us know about that humble hero. Is it a resilient local business? An organization that has worked nonstop? Is it that heroic maverick who has been nothing but selfless? Let us know, so we can highlight them on the air and on our social media!
